Our precious metal fund has been running since 2005 and is managed by Peter Frech. The fund combines physical gold and silver holdings with equities of precious metal mines around the world.

The Quantex Strategic Precious Metal Fund is a volatile sector fund to cover the topic of precious metals in the long term. Three Reasons to Buy

Low Correlation

Gold is least correlated with the other asset classes and accordingly helps with portfolio diversification. Because of its function as a crisis currency, gold belongs in every portfolio, true to the motto "buy gold and hope that you don't need it".

Value Criteria

A healthy balance sheet and positive free cash flow are at the center of our company selection for the mining stocks. Gold mining is cyclical enough and an additional leverage in the balance sheet due to high debts often leads to disaster even with rising gold prices. It's about avoiding the biggest pitfalls and losers.

Less Volatility

Due to the proportion of physical gold and silver and the conservative selection of stocks, the fund is less volatile than pure gold mining funds and has therefore outperformed in past correction phases. The gold is held in custody on behalf of the fund by the custodian.
